Fall Inspection

​

Furnaces, boilers, and heat pump systems all require annual maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.  Take advantage of heating system services.

Heat Pump - $75

- Check wiring for loose connections

​

- Check the condition of the blower motor and inspect bearings (lubricate if applicable)

​

- Clean blower assembly housing, blower wheel, and blower motor if necessary (additional fee may apply)

​

- Inspect air handler condensate drain and trap for leaks and cracks. Add treatment tablets​

​

- Check the system's sequence of operation to ensure the equipment starts, operates, and shuts off properly​

​

- Check air filter

- Clean and adjust safety controls

 

- Check heating elements

 

- Check start and run capacitors

 

- Check indoor and outdoor coils

 

- Check refrigerant temperature and pressures

 

- Check overall performance of system and make any improvement suggestions

Gas Furnace / Boilers - $75

- Check wiring for loose connections

- Check the condition of the blower motor and inspect bearings (lubricate if applicable)

- Clean blower assembly housing, blower wheel, and blower motor if necessary (additional fee may apply)

 

- For 90% furnaces, inspect condensate drain and trap for leaks and cracks. Add treatment tablets

- Check the system's sequence of operation to ensure the equipment starts, operates, and shuts off properly

​

- Check air filter​​

- Clean and adjust safety controls

 

- Check blower motor start and run capacitor

 

- Inspect gas pipe and connections for leaks

 

- Inspect the furnace venting system to make sure it's in place, structurally sound, and without holes, corrosion, or blockage

 

- Check operation of the ignition system, controls, and safety devices

 

- Check overall performance of system and make any improvement suggestions

 

Oil Furnace - $125
Oil Boilers - $145

(Oil nozzle and oil filter included)

- Check wiring for loose connections

- Change oil filter

​

- Change oil nozzle

- Check and adjust flame for maximum efficiency

- Clean and vacuum combustion chamber and vent piping if needed

​

- Check operation of the ignition system, controls, and safety devices​

​

- Inspect all oil fuel supply pipes and connections for leaks

 

- Visually evaluate the heat exchanger condition 

​

- Inspect the furnace venting system to make sure it's in place, structurally sound, and without holes, corrosion, or blockage​

 

- Check the system's sequence of operation to ensure the equipment starts, operates, and shuts off properly

 

- Clean and adjust safety controls- Check overall performance of system and make and improvement suggestions

 

Furnace Combustion Efficiency and Carbon Monoxide Analysis - $175

- Determine furnace efficiency percentage

​

- Adjust furnace to maximize efficiency if possible

 

- Determine amount of carbon monoxide produced by furnace​ (PPM - Parts Per Million)

​

​- Determine amount of carbon monoxide leaking into the home from the furnace (PPM - Parts Per Million)
